have created a buzz inside homes. Who is “friending, communicating, and influencing” our children, have raised concerns regarding internet safety. Every child should, “think before they upload, text, or hit send.” What can be done to protect children from being exploited and bullied?

Our children are in awe of pictures, videos, texting, and communicating with their friends and they should be. However, parents have to be diligent with knowing who’s entering their homes….through their child’s phone.

Children must be careful, who they allow, or invite into their space. Also, tell when they witness or believe there’s danger on the horizon.

My upcoming book, “Chosen when you wish you weren’t” is about four characters who’ve had their ups and downs with social media, but all except one had a dreadful encounter. Come out and see how you can prevent some things from happening. I know one parent (character in the book) wished she had a second chance and knew the things I will share.
